Callie’s Fund was established in memory of the first therapy dog used in delivery of hospice services at Samaritan Evergreen Hospice. Funds support hospice pet therapy services; coordinating care for an animal if the patient or family is unable to attend to the pet’s care or medical needs; education on the benefits of pet interaction for patients during hospice care; and maintenance of Callie’s Corner.
The Hospice fund helps subsidize the operations and equipment needs of the Samaritan Evergreen Hospice program for the terminally ill.
The Carter Hospice House Endowment supports ongoing operations including building and grounds maintenance, equipment purchases, program enhancement, patient care, and financial assistance for patients.
The Lakshmi Raman Hospice Garden fund enhances and/or adds to the gardens, including the water features, located at the Samaritan Evergreen Hospice House. Excludes general maintenance.
